TB12-R Reporting Software Set Up

- Full Software download Complete software installation to enable downloading data from TB12-R. This also include the sensor configuration tool.
After downloading open up download and extract ZIP file to same directory.
 

 
 
Run the installer:
SystemManager-x64-setup.exe
or
SystemManager-x86-setup.exe

Select “Next”.
 
 
 
 
                                       

 
Accept the License agreement.
 
Select “Next”.
 
 
If you are running the installer from the same downloads folder the key.txt file will auto-populate.

If the key does not auto-populate the field, the key may be located in a text file, named key.txt, included in the download.  Copy and paste the entire key into the field.

Select “Validate” then “Next”.
 
 
Accept the installation defaults.
 
Select “Next”.
 
 
Select the “Client” install option (default).
 
 
 
 
Leave the default installation settings.

Select “Next
 
NOTE: No database connection is needed for the TB12-R set up.
 
Select “Skip” in connecting to an SQL instance.
 
Select “Next” to proceed w/ the installation.

The Wizard will install the System Manager application.

The software will prompt you when install is complete. Select “Finish”.

CONFIGURING TB12-R SOFTWARE AND RETRIEVING REPORTS

Select Windows start-> All Programs-> SenSource-> System Manager-> USB Download Utility
The USB Download Utility will start and a default application behavior prompt will confirm user reporting defaults. Use the “Export to Excel” option and select “OK”.
 
 
 
Select the “Scan for Devices” from the USB Download Utility screen.
 
 
The sensor will appear on the left column of the application and a “Download” option will appear.

Use the default options: “Use System Clock” and “Auto Detect” and select “Download”.
 
A progress bar will indicate when complete. If no data is available the software will indicate “No Data”.
 
 
A “Save As” prompt will indicate to save info to the application directory. This is not required, select “Exit”.
 
 

The download utility will indicate four tabs; RefreshDeviceNodeData.
 
Select the “Data” tab -> “Show History Data”.
 
 

If data is present the info will open in another window “Data Preview”.



NOTE: To remove unnecessary columns from the data preview, right click on the mouse and selecting “Remove this Column” when hovering over a column.

The “Record Date Time Local” and “ValueA“ are the minimuim required fields .
 
Save as template File -> “Save Layout” to preserve setting on next export.
 
 
To Export data to Microsoft Excel or another format select “File”-> “Print”
 
 
 
To Export Select
File-> “Export Document-> XLSX File” or any available option.
 
 
Select Export options
-> leave default
-> Select Ok.
 
Save destination of file - Use meaningful names such as time exported or time info of data recorded
 
The software will prompt you to open file
-          Select “Yes” or “No”.
-          Yes will open the file if Microsoft office if installed on PC.
 
Clear the sensor of Data before removing sensor from PC by selecting “Clear History Log” from USB Download Utility
 
 
You will be prompted to continue. Select “Yes”.
 
 
Notification of cleared device will follow.
 
Sensor is ready to be removed from USB cable and placed back (or installed) at entrance.
